FAQ

What does AQuickStartKey do?
It catalogs all the applications in the start menu and lets you quickly access them.

What are the terms of usage and distribution?
This utility uses the BSD license, which means you do whatever you want with it at your own risk and it is completely free.

How do I use it?
After you install it it will be automatically started. To use it, double click on the big red Q in the taskbar (lower right hand corner usually) or press Shift+Alt+Control+Q; then start typing the name of the application, it will find matches as you type. You can change the hotkey to activate it by right clicking on the red Q icon in the taskbar and selecting the Config... option.

Sometimes the hotkey does not work...
This is caused by another windows program that is not playing nice, the chain of keyboard hooks should pass control to the next one if they can't handle it. Some programs don't follow this basic premise and screw up hotkeys for other programs. Not much I can do about this, it's the way windows is designed. You can always double click on the shiny red Q in the taskbar until you no longer need the application that is causing the problem.
