Looking at the world with a high glossy eye of serenity. All is quiet, all is well, all is far away. I look down and wonder what the world would be like if there was more intimate interaction between people. If people would like each other based on the mind and not the body. I also ask myself, if the physical can be a representation of the metal state?
Of course it can! The human mind and body are in an odd synergy that none understand completely
and most may understand only partially. As if we could eat 1 slice from
a cake with many different fillings. And we only eat the 1 piece we were told we could eat,
and never know that there is more to it: the different flavors and textures.
We believe that our point of view is the correct point of
view, but have we ever wondered what we were thinking about 5 years ago? How ridiculous we were then?
And how
The mind is a frontier that most will never understand completely. We spend a great deal pondering the universe and its vast reach. What if we learn that 200 light years away, a small number, there is other intelligent life in this universe; maybe they are even like us. So we must find out.
What are we going to do?
Are we going to build a space probe that will go there and land on this foreign planet? Of course NOT, light will take 200 years. We will go through 100s of generations. Imagine a space probe sent by Nefertiti.
Why not send them a broadcast message?
What if the other life form has sent us a message exactly 200 light years ago?
Are we listening to them? Is that static you heard
on the radio a signal that had to be analyzed? Even if we get their message, how do we know if there is
a way to decipher their language or are we so arrogant that we think that the galaxy speaks our
language, like in those
Our final frontier is our mind! Let's ponder a little about why we do the things we do. Why do we all think we are somehow special or better than the next one? Because we are GODs to someone else far far away...
